How I Remain Relevant Without Blogging?

I can’t say that it will work for everyone. I can only share my own experience. I’ve stepped back from blogging due to breaking my laptop, which is the main essential I use to type my blog post. Even though I haven’t published a new blog since June, I still remain relevant through promoting my blog and being active on social media.

I love to read and follow other blogs. I am also involved with a few groups on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. I’m not able to be on social media 24/7 due to work and my everyday life. But I make time whenever I can to share my work and the work of others.

You can’t expect support if you don’t give it. You have to gain respect just like any field, whether this is an hobby or not. If you be a successful blogger you have to think outside of the box. You have to find you niche.

I have taken a step away from blogging but have taken a step forward into branding and the business aspect of writing and blogging. Next month, myself and a long with my team will bring you “Writers Block Online Publication”. This will be a place for writers and bloggers to get exposure.

  1. Way to go! Promote when you’re not blogging. Most people forget that almost 70% of blogging has nothing to do with blogging. (I made those stats up so don’t do a fact check)

  2. This is fantastic advice! I think sometimes when we take a break from blogging that we can take a break from all aspects, but we need to keep up with our followers and our blogging community. I can’t wait for your publication!

  3. So true – blogging isn’t just about writing, it is about supporting others and putting yourself out there in other ways, being genuine – it is all a process! 🙂

  4. Well said. Promotion is key to getting people to look at your blog, even when you aren’t actively posting. It’s also so important to give love to others blogs as well. Looking forward to what you have in store for next month.

  5. Very apt post. Blogging goes beyond just creating content. As a new blogger I am still learning the ropes of networking more effectively. Waiting for the publication.

  6. Great blog, promoting and being involved in the community is key. I haven’t been blogging that long but the community is so amazing and networking has been the key. I hope you get a new laptop soon.

  7. Love this and looking forward to reading more! Any blogging tips are most welcome 🙂 My niche is travel / Cornwall. You can find my blog here: cornishmaidblog.com 🙂 x
